This Shipping Policy governs the delivery of products purchased from the Sustainable Universe website and other sales channels within India. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Service Area
We ship to most locations within India. During checkout, you can verify serviceability by entering your pin code. If your location is not serviceable, we will inform you before payment is processed.
2. Order Processing Time
Order processing refers to the time taken to prepare your order for dispatch.
- Standard Processing: All orders are typically processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 4 business days from the date of order placement.
- Business Days: Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
3. Shipping and Delivery Time
Shipping time is the time taken by our courier partner to deliver the order after it has been dispatched.
- Estimated Delivery Time: Once dispatched, the estimated delivery time is generally:
- Metro & Tier 1 Cities: 3-5 business days.
- Rest of India: 5-7 business days.
Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Tracking Your Order: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email or SMS notification containing the tracking number and the name of the courier company. We work with leading logistics providers to ensure reliable delivery.
- Unforeseen Delays: While our delivery partners strive for timely delivery, the estimated time may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as bad weather, natural calamities, strikes, lockdowns, political disturbances, or other unforeseen events.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on your order value and location.

The final shipping charge (including any COD fee) will be clearly displayed before you make the payment.
5. Important Notes on Delivery
- Signature Required: Deliveries may require a signature upon receipt. Please ensure someone is available at the shipping address to receive the order.
- Delivery Attempts: Our courier partners typically attempt delivery multiple times. If the package is undeliverable after all attempts, it will be returned to our warehouse, and we will contact you to arrange a re-shipment (additional shipping charges may apply).
- Delivered, But Not Received: If your delivery status shows “Delivered” but you have not received the package, inform us within 24 hours of the status update. After 48 hours, courier companies do not accept any Proof of Delivery (POD) disputes.
6. Damaged, Tampered, or Lost Shipments
We take utmost care to ensure your products arrive in perfect condition.
- Damaged Shipment: If the packaging is visibly damaged or tampered with at the time of delivery, please do not accept the package. Take a photograph and immediately contact our Customer Support team with your Order ID. We will arrange a replacement or refund after verifying the issue.
- Lost Shipment: If your package tracking shows it is lost, or if it has not arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, please notify us immediately. We will coordinate with the courier company to investigate and ensure a resolution (replacement or full refund) within 15 business days of initiating the investigation.
