95% Less Plastic
Our products come to you in a pouch that is made from the thinnest plastic. We’ve used 95% less plastic than the bottle in which you typically buy haircare products. The inner layer – at less than 75 microns – is thinner than a strand of hair!
With 95% less plastic:
- Marine biodiversity can begin to stabilize within a decade.
- 1,500+ species may be saved from getting entangled in or ingesting plastics.
- ~1.7 gigatons of CO2 emissions will be eliminated.
- Drastic reduction in human exposure to “forever chemicals,” leading to a decrease in plastic-related health issues, including certain cancers, developmental disorders, and infertility.
The Plastic-to-Product Ratio
Fact: A standard rigid plastic bottle often weighs more than the liquid inside.
What We Did: Our pouch is engineered to have a surface-to-volume ratio that uses 95% less plastic.
Plus, with a much thinner pouch, we reduce the carbon energy required for shipping by nearly 40%.
